Cluster giovani, the baby-talent inspires by the “enigmatic scale”

Cluster presents next Saturday at 5:30 pm an original musical afternoon entitled “The enigmatic scale” in the Auditorium of Fondazione Banca del Monte di Lucca, that sponsors all the events of this association. The event is part of the festival “Cluster giovani”, where gathers composers that, just graduated in composition, are starting to bring their language to the world. All coordinated from Stefano Teani, artist also from Lucca with a brilliant career not just as composer but also as a pianist, both soloist and repetiteur. Just consider that last summer he was chosen by Riccardo Muti (pictured Teani and Muti), at Ravenna Theater, to study La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi.

The title of Saturday concert comes from the enigmatic scale created by Adolfo Crescentini, for the readers of «Gazzetta musicale» in Milano on the august 5th 1888. After few weeks the harmonizations sent by the readers were published together with the author’s itself. The version of Giuseppe Verdi became famous since he created a gorgeous and famous 4 voices Ave Maria. In the concert the Yugen Ensemble, founded by Stefano Teani, will be performing. It is a modular group made by musicians and artists of several art forms who have a high level international career. The aim of the ensemble is to perform contemporary music. Saturday afternoon will perform Valentina Cinquini (harp) and Emanuele Lucchesi (trombone), who will play all premieres by Caffè, Chelotti, D’Agostino, Di Stefano, Lastraioli, Monti, Petrizzo and Teani. Free entry.
